Leaving Toledo Bend today. Our best day was Monday morning. We pulled 19 white bass. Nice size. I talked to a guide and be said they night fishing is real good right now. We were using spoons fishing bottom. He said at night they are schooling on top and should be able to load up.

3 weeks ago we caught 52 under the bridge in an hour.

A guy i know that has a camp at San Miguel caught 275 in 3 nights of fishing.

I am going for Bass...
I got a few reports from a few people so far and it's basically what I already knew.

If you want White Bass...Fish the lighted side of Pendleton with a Chartreuese/Chrome Rat-L-Trap.

fished Toledo this past weekend. It was slow. Between two boats we only caught 7 under the slot, no keepers and a few white bass (unintentionally). Didnt fish at night bc I was pre fishing for a tournament I have coming up in August. Seemed like the fish were in the 25ft range. Caught a few on top water where the bait fish were piled up in a grassy point but most of our bites were on Texas or Carolina rigged soft plastics.

that sounds about right Cadello.

We just got home from Toledo. It was definitely hit or miss. Night fishing is definitely the way to go right now.

Thank You ..that is helpful..don't feel bad. 2 people I know fished all weekend and didn't catch a keeper between them.

My favorite way to fish..it takes some getting used to, but once you do, it's on!

I can't tell you how many bass I've caught out of Toledo at night the last three years on Black Emerald Baby Brush Hog. They like it a lot!

This weekend I'll be there and it'll only be the second time I'll get to go night fishin this year. Can't wait!

Fillet the red meat off and cut the red vein out and the fat and that's one of the best eating fish ever....

Our camp is a little past San Miguel, so I'll be fishing around there. Found a few spots earlier in the year that I'm hoping will be good for night fishing, gonna hit them up.

Well i sucked..

Only caught 1 keeper and finally found the pattern just as they quit biting.
Missed 2 big fish.
Just wasn't my day.

The prefish Thursday night my buddies caught a: 8+, 7.5 6 and a 5 in another part of the lake.
We fished the bridge and didn't find them.

Drank lots of beer and we grilled ribs, lamb, snapper, and pork loin the first day and fried fish and made a courtbullion the second day.

Except for the fishing we had a blast.
have another tournament next month there, hopefully I do better...

Yea..that's what I said ..pattern

I'd like to come here every time and say I slaughtered them, but I didn't.

If I could do that I'd be fishing the Bass Masters I guess.

There are people here that fish Toledo and follow the TB threads.

They bit on Plum, Blackberry and Black Emerald.
Moving very very very slow.
