Three things.
1. If the FA give him 8 games or more. Sets a precedent that Biting is worse than Racism. Might not go down very well.
2. FA already has 3 games rule for violent conduct. They cannot exceed it by much or else it will again set a precedent that they will have to follow every time there is a malicious violent conduct.
3. The Dutch ban was 3 for his Red Card + 4 for the actual offense. Given that the referee did not show him red. I can't see how the FA can tack that onto any decision they take.

But then this is Suarez, a player everyone loves to hate and the FA will bring the book down on him. He doesn't do himself any favors does he.

Didn't think of this. Unless they justify 8 because of multiple offenses?

That's not true at all. Suarez didn't even get a red in that game either.
