I have a feeling it's going to be atleast 10 games, which I think is way overboard, but it's Suarez so they are gonna nail him...

It is a bit much but I really don't think that's too extreme.

1) A lot of fans of other clubs think it's so despicable we should sell him... I bet they do, I'd want him out of the EPL too

I'm sure that's part of it, but I'd bet a good bit genuinely believe he should go on ideological grounds. Whether that's called for or not isn't the point. I've talked to 3 fans today of other clubs who all loved Suarez, and until Saturday thought everyone blew him antics out of proportion. To a man, each one of them today think he needs to be sold. I can tell you from my personal experiences with them its not because they're afraid, but because they think there's no place in the EPL for that behavior. Whether that stance is justified or not doesn't matter because it just shows us that, with this incident at least, reaction isn't just a result of the typical tribalism we're used to seeing.

2) If they act is so despicable, why is it that everyone things that its the funniest thing ever and jokes and puns are all over the place... seems the general public thinks its a joking matter (bet the same things werent said when Keane eneded Haland's career)

I've wondered the same thing myself. Maybe my personal experience with my friends that I spoke of above is the outlier. Who knows? Its certainly strange to see so many jokes about something so many claim is so disgusting and despicable.

Again, I dont think he should go without punishment, but good lord people love to blow things out of proportion..

Maybe its because I"m just tired of the constant extremely negative PR shite show he's left us with over the years, but I don't thinks its blown all that much out of proportion. While I don't want to see him go, if the club decided to sell, I would support the decision and certainly understand it.
