Well yeah but my point is wouldn't the outsiders view be less biased and thus tend to be closer to the truth?

Not all the times... the guy is vilified through out the entire country for really, no good reason... its become the "thing to do" when Suarez plays...
I just like the fact, like Xavier says, he plays with a frick you attitude and it doesnt get in his head...

Maybe in some circumstances, but certainly not in Suarez's. He was the media's posterboy for "how not to play football" for quite some time. It rubbed off on many fans, and people upheld his stereotype without even watching him play on a regular basis.
The only real circumstances where an outside fan can be "closer to the truth" is when they watch close to the same amount of matches as the fan of the actual club. Because even without being a fan of Liverpool, the English media have by and large created a bias in "neutral" fans against him.
Bingo. The problem is that your average, casual fan who only sees 5 second gifs of Suarez's latest dive, rather than watch him play a couple times a month for 90 minutes, is just as "biased" as an LFC fan.
