I think the media is misconstruing things. From reading the transcripts, I bet you Sahin said something like "Blah blah.....I was not able to play because I did not fit into the role the manager wanted me to play in. But now I have left Rodger's behind, Inshallah"
That is a very muslim thing to do. Say "inshallah" at the end of a sentence when you are hoping for something better. Which is exactly what he is trying to do now, get his footballing career back on track. Inshallah loosely translates to "thank god" or "god willing" and the UK media being the cu*ts they are will always make it sound the worst they possibly can.
Trust me I have watched enough India v Pakistan cricket. The Pakis say inshallah thrice in every badly constructed sentence at the post match presentations after getting their asses whopped.

That explanation makes much more sense. Nuri was always a class act and seemed like a good kid. And as usual, its not a stretch to assume the English media are being douches about something.
