Dude I read Arsenal boards all the time, English centric arsenal boards, and they hate City and Chelsea bc we dominated the old way and city and Chelsea have erased the old way forever. But the last two seasons have changed opinions, and it's becoming much more "if you can't beat them join them." It was easy to be self-righteous when Arsenal still had world class players like Fabregas and Van Persie but as the quality of the squad has decreased year after year so has the reluctance of fans to "financially dope." All that's gonna happen is those same fans are gonna blame city and Chelsea for forcing them to go this route. Kind of like how Red Sox fans rationalize having such a high payroll by pointing out that the Yankees did it first

I understand what you're saying, and I hope it isn't true.

I like Arsenal a lot, and respect the club and their fans. Permanent class for the most part. However, I hope this isn't true for the sake of the league, for the sake of Liverpool and for fear of what Arsenal may become.
