Word is he's going now. I'd heard schalkes magic number was £3mm, don't know what they settled on.... He's really good but needs to work on consistently playing at a high level. Idk enough about spurs to know where/how he'll fit in, but he's a natural leader (he's always been the captain of the German youth sides and has worn the band for schalke a few times) and hard worker. His wages are decent, but the fee doesn't look too bad as long as spurs can finish top 4.

rafinha not really hurt that badly, but shaq daddy ruled out for mainz this week.
eta this is a different mainz team than earlier in the year, and it's on the road. cant come out looking like the last two weeks or we will only get a point at best. tuchel wont butcher his tactics twice against us.

Just getting around to watching the Mainz match...was closer than the 3-0 score indicated...
Mandzukic has been on fire the last few matches,he's just on another level...also love the way Dante's playing in the back...
Team has so much talent, just curious to find out what lineup trots out on Feb. 19 when Champions League starts...

eh, maybe so, but i dont particularly remember mainz having more than one maybe two legitimate scoring chances. we handled up on them pretty well, especially for an away match.

both are good players

True...Mainz had great setups, just awful attempts on goal...
Neuer didn't have much trouble in net, Mainz just got a few more chances that were almost non-existent against Greuter-Furth & Stuttgart...
When they did get a chance, they pissed down their leg, crowd was out of it 10 minutes into the 2nd half...

yeah i think we were a bit fortunate to have adam szalai out with yellow card accumulation.
did you notice robben sprint off the field after the game was over
eta: but i thought the squad looked like they were dragging a fair bit of arse in the first two games, so i was very pleased with the result

Reminds me of Guti. He makes that pass like 5 times in this video.
LINK
Might be the best passer of all-time. The 0:30 mark is one of my top 3 favorites for sure.
ETA It does help he got to pass to Zidane, Ronaldo, Nistelrooy, Beckham, Cristiano, etc.
