I guess we see it differently. I see the 80s as more being propped up by artists that originated in the 70s (and even 60s) than for being known for outstanding original artists that began their careers in the 80s.

Interesting decade. I didn't care much for the retreaded bands of the 70's and the stuff they produced in the 80's. A lot of the new stuff was very good though.
