Okay got ya
List would be...
light weight
sit on top
12'
Thats almost every yak out there
But really don't really think you need anything with pedals so that'll save you money but definitely recommend you get a good paddle. The Field & Stream boat has fantastic reviews so can't go wrong there, not sure of its weight also got a buddy that has the vibe "sea ghost" 130 boat super staple and amazingly fast, best of both worlds
Id add the Acsend fs12 to the list, it was my 1st boat and nothing but good to say about it
Its a bit heavy but manageable for one person
Im sure the others will add their recommendations
Good luck and welcome to the club!

vibe "sea ghost" 130

I rented one when I went fishing on our vacation in Destin last summer. I enjoyed fishing it but I only stayed on the water a few hours at a time. They track well and are are really stable but it seemed really heavy when I was loading and unloading it. It could also seem that way because I was dragging it a 1/4 mile through sand. The old seat in it was terrible so make sure its a 2014 or newer. That stadium style seat makes a world of difference.
