Has anyone replaced the carpet for a liner of some type. I've looked into it a little and they make a liner for boats. If so how hot is it and does it get slippery?

TIA

You can use truck bed liner spray in for boats. My dad had it in an aluminum boat and it worked pretty well. It lasts a few years, then fades and cracks as you would expect. Probaby have to reapply every 5 or so years, maybe.

They make a liner for boats. But the only review i can get on it is the people selling it. Which according to them is the best thing ever created.

I have rhino liner in my aluminium boat. Boat is 5 years old and has still looks like the day we picked it up from the shop.

Easy to keep clean, gets a little hot but so hot you can walk on it, worst about is that it can get a slippery when wet and full of fish slim.

Go with a bed liner, see if you can find one that's not black.

The other liners/mats are great for rec boats, not so much fishing
