Yup.
NFL will never eliminate helmets IMO though due to how valuable the logos are. Imagine no Cowboy's star, Green Bay 'G', Saints Fluer-de-lis, etc.
We're talking mega-million dollar branding tools here.

i know, i know...those helmets are the icons for the NFL even more than the NFL shield, but until we start playing football without them, then we'll continue to tackle in a manner which will create neck injuries and concussions. the precise reason i'm pushing baseball
