Very good points. Not arguing but clarifying my statement and saying what we all know - that college baseball recruiting is fickle in that your class can be gutted at the last minute. Will be interesting how the earlier deadline rule change this year might change that. Every team can play the "what if" game but if CPM had been able to keep just 1-2 players from pro ball the last 2 years we wouldn't be debating if he should be on the hot seat. This year's class is projecting to stick a little better although we'd all love to see ~4-5 more legit hitters coming in.

Good points and without question, this team would've been better off if some of those kids had stuck to their word and came to campus. Regardless, in retrospect, I think most people would've liked a solid contingency plan, but it is what it is.

You've stated that the SEC championship baseball team was not a very good team; you pretty much lost all credibility with that point of view, aka your opinion. You opened the can of worms by being overtly obtuse; deal with it.

Again, you selectively quote and manipulate my words to try to make me seem unreasonable and, yet, I'm the obtuse one. If you go re-read my quote, you'll see that my comment was made regarding the talent level of this year's team compared to previous LSU teams; thus, why I said it was not a very good "LSU team." Compare the talent level to the 2009 team that last won an SEC Championship and get back to me on that. If you can't do that simple task and read sentences as they are written (such as using a conjunction to continue one's thought or statement, like I did in this sentence), then I wouldn't be so quick to call another person obtuse.

Until then, don't try to tell me what my own opinion is.
