I'm an NCAA guy all the way...bought it the last 13 straight years (compared to about 5 during that same span for Madden) and have already preordered this year's.

That being said, kind of a mixed bag for the demo. The passing is improved, the different trajectories make things more interesting. The defensive AI seems to be smarter. The DB's are much more aggressive going after the ball than the WR's are.

Other than that, it plays like a slightly smoother version of 12, which is to be expected I guess. Like NCAA 2012.5.

The bottom ticker with scores is a nice addition, but the most disappointing thing about the demo was the studio updates with Rece Davis. They built these up like they were some massive stroke of awesome, and they're completely terrible. Amazingly terrible, honestly.

Rece sounds like he's half asleep and his words don't flow together at all "Virginia Tech...currently...keeping their...ranking. Only...winning by...3....kill John Connor....back to you, Brad."

I found myself skipping through those after hearing them only twice. And they come up so frequently, it begins to get annoying.

With Madden getting the new physics engine and a complete reboot to their franchise mode, I'm actually looking more forward to it now. Which is kinda disappointing, but maybe this will grow on me with the Dynasty mode and new recruiting engine that you can't use in the demo. I spend most of my time doing that stuff anyway.
