1. Bomber - due to the Fat Free Shad
2. Bandit
3. Norman
I have a KVD and an Academy look alike that I have yet to really fish hard. I only fish cranks when I have to.

The KVD line is often the same price as bandits are at retail...about $5...
I use Manns 1- for shallow divers (the footloose sucks here)
bandit 100 and 200 series a LOT
Then I have varied baits that are deeper that I got on sale. I hardly ever throw them.

I have a couple bandits, h20 xpress, kvd, mann's. I almost never throw one though. Don't know what I'm doing when it comes to cranks, never catch dick on them.

I catch the majority of my fish on them. Ive found that the H20s just dont catch near as many as the Bandits. Not sure why

The H20 baits that are bandit clones have more of a rounded lip on the "100" and a flatter lip on the "200". Not nearly as good, though I do like some of the other H20 harbaits, particularly the poppers.
I only buy cranks on sale...and when they go on sale I buy a BUNCH...so the only time I bought some KVD's squarebills I paid $4 each for them.

Rapala and KVD series for me.

Every crankbait I own except two are Bandits. The other two are KVD's that dive really deep.

1.) Bandit
1A.) H20
I mostly buy the H20's when they go on sale that way I can get 'em cheap. However, the bandits generally out produce them unless you get the H20's which are just cheaper versions of the same Bandit bait.

I buy a lot of 200 series Bandits in red eye pearl, sexy shad, and baby bass. Watching these fishing shows where they fish deep cover like old road beds and such with deep divers dont fit where I fish. Deepest I think Ive ever caught a bass was maybe 16 feet

Since today is officially crank bait day
I already had about 30 I never use then went out and bought 5 more
Mostly KVD 1.5's in chartreuse.
I'll be throwing worms 95% of the tournament tomorrow
Posted on 6/1/12 at 4:53 pm to Cadello
I catch a ton of fish on them. Mainly in high water situations. I use to only use them to troll for bar fish.
Posted on 6/1/12 at 4:54 pm to FelicianaTigerfan
I catch 90% of my fish either on a crankbait or a spinnerbait. Has to be a dry day for me to pick up the worm.

Well, at least it's finally official

I feel the same way about a spinner bait
Posted on 6/1/12 at 4:57 pm to FelicianaTigerfan
It's the perfect bait. It's hard to get stuck if you make a good throw. It hooks the fish for you. Plus you're not just sitting there waiting..you're constantly covering water.
