Has anyone been to Apolline on Magazine? I bought a Living Social deal yesterday and was just wondering if it's any good.

I hve not. My sister has been twice and really liked it. I checked out the menu and it looks very promising.
You and the Brit gonna show for the big party at Finn's on Saturday?

I ate there maybe two months ago. It was pretty good, no problems at all.
I really hate that the original incarnation of Dominique's on Magazine is no more. That place was so damn good, one of the best meals I've ever eaten in New Orleans. Everything was spot on.

Dined there about 6 months ago and really enjoyed my meal. Had the
SEARED DIVER SCALLOPS
shrimp and corn maque choux, bacon plank
as my entree and it was very good. Wife had the black drum and gave me a taste, nicely prepared, and also very good.
Had a capresi salad as a starter.
This would be a perfect date restaurant since the dining room is very nicely decorated and candle lit. The two tops may be a little close together though.
