I think I musta spent 2 hours reading that Rok thread last night.
same here. Read all 20 pages and then read other threads on the forum. I must have had 10 tabs up with all the terms and equipment I had to look up.

Yeah we get some awesome days where it's totally flat and you can see the bottom of the boat from 120 feet. Last Thursday and Friday I dove out of Grand Isle/Fourchon and both days we found blue water only 20 miles out.

We shot a bunch of lemon fish and hauled a lot of meat back. My dad said he saw a big Cubera swim up to him while he was fighting with an amberjack, on the same rig Rok shot his on Friday. Funny how the big ones will get right in your face right after you pull the trigger.

If you have any questions about equipment let em fly. I've taken apart and rebuilt just about every regulator you can think of, so I can tell you what's good and what to avoid.

You did better than me, I only got to 8 or 9.

He has some style of writing/telling that makes it easy to read and even more interesting than it already is that I can't define. I was readinga lot of it on my iphone and couldn't see the avatars but could instantly tell when him vs. someone else was writing.

It's interesting because I'm sure he's not much of a scholar per se (could be wrong) and wasn't overtly trying to "write a good story", but the result was really good reading.
Sorry, end of ramble.
