Assuming you don't have an HDMI connection on your TV? If not go with the 360 or you could always hook it up old school with a VGA and sound.

Yes, I have an HDMI connection. What options do I have? I'm assuming my BD player and tv aren't app capable because I got them both a couple Christmases ago. I'll check when I get home from work to make sure, but I was just going to stop at Walmart and get a PS3 since I wanted one anyway.

If you have HDMI connections you should be able to stream audio and video signals directly from your laptop to the TV. That's assuming that your laptop has an HDMI port or can use an HDMI adapter like a Mac. If your laptop has old VGA setups then you can hook up those connections if your TV has them or get a conversion kit from VGA and sound to HDMI, but I've heard those things are a crapshoot. Easiest solution imo is to hook a HDMI port on a laptop up to HDMI capable TV. Also I'm far from technical, this is just what I've learned from my own experiences. Some other folks might have some more ideas. Enjoy the PS3
