bama fans hating on freek need to DEAL WITH IT

It's not all Bama fans. There are plenty of other Bama fans that I respect & admire for their sense of humor, insight, intelligence, and camaraderie and would love to crack a cold one or three together.

But there are overly-sensitive types who really need to do to stop whining with fake outrage about a fairly common football injury that occurred in a full contact sport that Prothro willingly participated in knowing the risks.

Prothro wasn't raped as a child, or murdered, or paralyzed, or caught some airborne disease, or maimed in war, or tackled by a genetic disorder or some other tragedy I won't go near.

Prothro broke his leg in a full contact sport and can't play anymore. It's not unprecedented in football, and not off-limits. However, he wasn't even the butt of the joke in my GIF but rather used as a metaphor for a Bama bad break or misfortune.

Prothro's not dead, but their emotional ties to this guy has made him a martyrdom saint, and they cry foul if the picture is even posted online without some solemn memoriam, much less to used in a different context as a metaphor for misfortune.

What's really funny is that this dude is probably living a more comfortable life than all of us combined while some useless Bammers probably make reverent Mecca-like treks around his yard stomping on his daisies.

Actually he's working as a teller at a bank after having a shot at the NFL cut short. But to each their own.
