For those who have been, how do the ticket packages work? How much are they? What is the best way to go about buying some?

TIA

I bought SEC Tournament tix at the gate. Unless you buy reserved seating (first few rows, wouldn't advise), it's all general admission, so you can pretty much sit where you want.

SEC tournament tickets are easy to come by. No need.to purchase packages. Not sure about CWS. I've never been.

CWS tickets are easy to get. well they were at the old stadium anyways. just buy them when you get up there

My advice is to talk to usce fans about the new park for the Cws. I got ga tickets and sat for hours in 09. Also got reserved seats, but the ga seats were the best. New stadium is downtown, old stadium was not, so two different things.

When we went to CWS for the Championship series we bought the tickets online the night before.

SEC tix buy at the gate.

Bama won't be playing in Hoover (#11 and #12 don't make the tourney), so tickets should not be a problem for any games.

For CWS in 09 tickets were pretty easy to come by. The GA tickets were way more fun (like student section). Things got rowdy in GA but when I was in reserved seating it was mello and kinda boring.

I would suggest buying at the stadium. You will have to wait in a line for GA tickets, but it was a much better experience.

The problem with the SEC tourney is that they added 2 more teams this year. 2 more fanbases buying up tix. We wnt 3 years in a row 08-10 and didn't have any problems getting tickets. of course, after a few teams get eliminated, tickets get easier to find.

I usually buy tickets for the first game ahead of time and then all other games in the parking lot. As teams lose, those fans sell or give tickets away. If Bama or Auburn don't make it, you can get any seats you want.

CWS works the same way but the prices are much higher.

For the SEC tournament I would think most people would agree that GA are better seats than reserved, especially for day games. Sitting in the sun all day can get rough at that park.

It's a great time either way. Looking forward to being their on Sat & Sun this year, hope we are still around but it will be a nice weekend of baseball regardless.
