I use twitter like an archival website. I either post the gif link directly from my photobucket account or I post links to whatever website I posted them on. That way people can find my latest or earlier stuff there, if they are so interested, and the links are there for forever or until I decide to delete them.
But I always use an url shortener like bit.ly since you can only have 140 characters in a "tweet". The photobucket elongated url's would take up most of the tweet otherwise.

And that's why I learned to watermark everything I make. shite gets posted all over the web. And when I had lsu players using my images as their profile pictures I felt badass because my name was on there.
