Goodell selects Saints to play in Hall of Fame game....

...while in the midst of an investigation on the bounty scandal? Does this strike anyone else as somewhat odd? Not that the Hall of Fame game is some marquee match-up, but it is the first preseason game and is nationally televised.
Just seems somewhat odd to me. Am I missing something here?

Teams picked before announcement of scandal, but thi was allegedly some big investigation so 3 weeks or so ago I would imagin they had some idea of what the findings were.

Well what if he chose not to pick the Saints for the HOF game? You would have started a thread saying Goodell is tampering with the league/hates the Saints blah blah blah
