My nets are very old nets that I had rebuilt out of old trawl nets. Hell, the wires are well over 30 years old. Deep water nets do have there place if you are fishing a clean bottom. Remember, the net has to be on the bottom or the bugs will feed from under the net. Also, the good thing about deep water nets is that you can use them to catch crabs. I have both type of nets. Now I just need to get out there is get some bugs.
