Do any of yall know of a good guide to go offshore out of Hackberry? A group of guys from work are planning a trip down there about mid April. They want to do some trout/red and maybe some offshore on the next day.
TIA

Offshore and Hackberry don't compute.
Yoy have to go 90 miles to get to moderately deep water.

Good inshore fishing though. Plenty of marsh if you have a yak. I was catching bull reds less than a mile from my camp by Dugas' Landing in my yak last season.

This. I've done it. It's not fun. If you insist on Hackberry and offshore, check around and see if Whit Wilkinson is still running a boat out of that area. He used to go out of Cameron. This was prolly ten years ago though.
