The real question is why so late? That's what hurts the most. Coaching hires have already been made for most if not all top-tier college teams. A really good secondary coach whose philosphy is not significantly different may cause new issues for an already set defense. We need to open up the wallet and get better at that position and also hire an assistant coach for recruiting purposes.
