I think it depends on the state of the program that was inherited, the caliber of the program in general, and other factors.

In the last 20 years, LSU has finished greater than 8-8 in the SEC only four times. If LSU reaches that level this year, I think that can be considered a very positive step in the right direction and on the way to being turned around.

Look, I'm not a huge fan of TJ, but with the recruits he's bringing in we're never going to be "great". LSU basketball will always be up and down, so what does the question of "how many years" even mean? As long as he can bring a competitive basketball team in consistently and give us a chance to dance from time to time I'm ok with it. Do I want more, yes, but I don't expect it. A good start would be getting a staff worth a damn and maybe an offensive guy in here to draw up some plays. I'm ok with what he's doing for now though.

I agree that the program is improving. It just seems that the fans have accepted mediocrity with BB.
