I wonder if his decision would've been different if we had won the NC and he had contributed more in the game or the decision was leaving early no matter the outcome of Jan. 9th?

I'm thinking he would have had even more value if LSU wins and would have still gone. The goal of most of these guys is the NFL and he will get drafted in the first 3 rounds so why risk blowing an ACL like what happened to Broyles at OU? He was one of the best wr's in college last year and if he gets drafted now it will be very late.

I got the feeling he was gone regardless of BCSNC outcome.

A win would've just softened the blow.

Rueban will be a top 20 pick in the draft. Great decision to come out early.

He is first round talent but will not go in first round unless he blows up the combine and is actually 6 3 and runs a low 4.4

Didn't someone here say Mike Detellier was talking about RR training in nola and hitting 4.38?

He said he would be the #2 WR picked in the top 20 behind Blackmon. The previous #2-3 have a disadvantage in size and speed which elevated Randles stock.

He would be an idiot to let the outcome of that game influence his decision. I dont think he is an idiot.

Rueban Randle's decision to leave early.... was his decision. I believe he let his emotions get in the way of what was best for him personally as a person and a player... but I am not him or his Dad. It would have been nice to have him around, but... I believe he is the one with the most to lose by leaving early. IMO..

Does this look like a man who is swayed by his emotions?

I have a hard time believing that. All that matters is if he can hit a number like that on the combine guns...that would turn heads REALLY FAST!

Or could have gotten injured, and his value drop. 20/20
