Anywhere in the top 10 is a great class. Great night for the tigers. The class ranking is getting better and better. Let's get Kwon and Patterson to close out this class
Edited that we are up to 5

but but but we don't have any top 100 on rivals...the sky is still falling, is it not?

Yeah, you use scout/247.. I'll use the site that had half of its staff bolt for 247 to give a better summary of the class

Rankings are pointless IMO. They are wrong more than right. Plus, the Louisiana players are usually some of the most under rated played in the nation every year.

Shea just re-tweeted Scott Kennedy saying we're up to #5 now.

#5 on Scout now, would be top ten on rivals if they counted Hill...still more to come

People use the rankings that makes them feel better about their team. Noticed it more this year than ever. No one knows how a class will pan out and I don't give a rats arse about the rankings to this point. They are all over the place.

This class is underrated. Very underrated.
It's not just about this class v. the other schools. It's about filling need. We need 1-3 to make an impact in 2012. We need 5-6 more in 2014 and then 2015, these will be the leaders.
So you have to look at this and how it fits with 2011 and 2010 and (to an extent) 2009 and the remaining 2008 guys. Plus Josh D. Class of 1975.

Don't we have three or four of ESPN's top 100? I know y'all hate ESPN recruiting, but are they not ranked as high on rivals? Not that it matters, if the coaches say they can play, I believe them. People freaked out about losing maybe the next Sean Taylor, whining about down years for recruiting...we might have just picked up the next Ryan Clark. I'll take that as a plan B.

Yes i agree and know what your saying. But i mean Chris Davenport was the biggest recruit in the state and he wont see the field for us. Rankings do little to help me feel better. I mean Hester was a 2*. But its true, people need them to feel good about players they got. But, they are right about some and right about others, just like all of us are
