Not much yet in the form of official word outside of Billy Liucci on TexAgs. Good pick-up for A&M but I find it hard to believe this is far from over if he really is an LSU fan

Maybe he's not? Or he is, but wants to stay home.

Sumlin better hire some good recruiters though

Very puzzling. I know people that know him very well and he is a big LSU fan. Just curious as to why he would commit to TAM before visiting LSU or Texas. Strange. Good luck to the Aggies holding on to this one.

Wow that is really shocking. Kid is a monster, I would be very shocked to see him stick to that commitment.

Wow. Still shocked.

Wow

This. A&M has more than a year to hold onto him and I just don't see that

If we offer the kid, and he sees how A&m looks during the season. And we do what we expect to do. He be thinking at the very least

I don't understand why he committed on the spot. I thought it was going to be Texas or us. Will be interesting to see if he shows up to our junior days. Texas may not even offer him with this commitment.

In other news George Baltimore canceled his lsu visit to go to ou.

I think he just got caught up in the moment. We'll see in a few days when he gets off the junior day high.

Even though Baltimore did that, I see no reason to fret about any 2013 prospect this early. Hell, Mario Edwards was interested in OU, went there, and basically said it was an awful visit. If you are fretting this early, you may need to take a breather from recruiting Wolverines for at least a week

It was never Texas or LSU. It was always gonna be A&M or LSU.

He's more of an Aggie than y'all think.

Also according to Gigem247, it sounds like he will probably cancel his Junior Day visits, but thats not a for sure official thing yet.

We aren't doubting that, it is just a shock he committed so early. I feel like it is the high of getting an offer that he has wanted

Apparently he did tell his HS coach he would commit if offered.

His HS coach is an Aggie BTW. That could come into play.

We've actually been expecting this commitment for awhile. He likes A&M a lot. I'm sure we'll have a hard time holding on to him, but this was certainly not a "caught in the moment" or spontaneous type thing.

Quite the opposite.
