The fact they're using active duty SEALs makes it even more badass and authentic. The website has a video on the making of it that's pretty interesting too:

It is different. He is not a polished writer so the flow of the book is not what you would expect. However, the way he breaks down time in combat and time home/experiences are good reading. Especially if you have a friend or relative that has been in combat. Some of the writing is from his wife's perspective. I'm about a third of the way through and it has not been graphic thus far. Different, but a very good read. Also a very good look into the true Warrior mentality.

My son's team is in it during the rivierine scenes. It was filmed by the Bandito Bros out in the Pearl River Swamps by the NASA Stennis Ctr.
You see my son very briefly during the trailer. He is driving one of the boats and is one of the operators coming up out of the water.
