Whats our chance with him? Any probability of us landing him? i rmemeber a while ago we were hot for Howard, Alexander, and Edwards. I read the thing about Edwards, and I am told Howard is not a likelihood. But where do we stand with Alexander?

Good position.

He is ours as long as Bama doesn't offer.

Auburn is lurking too but if we want him we will have him.

Do our coaches really want another lb?

I guess so, a lot of our LBs might be best at DE.

Yes. But we need more depth at LB. we are a 4-3 but we need Sheppardesque LB's. And Kwon is a talent that you cant pass up. So if what you guys are saying is true, the future of LSU looks really bright. With Kwon, Davis etc starting with and eventually replacing talents like Minter, our LB core should be great. This is very exciting news guys! Geaux Miles! Lock him down!!!

Alabama is not going to offer him. Not really a fit in the system, and the numbers game is catching up to us.

That doesn't mean he's not a fine player, though. He's a legit SEC player who would do really well in a hybrid role. Good kid, too. I'm hoping he picks LSU over Auburn.

Good to know. I also think that Alabama won't offer him.

I think he's ours to lose unless his parents want him to stay home. He would be on a much better D than at Auburn, and he could immediately fight for playing time if he's healthy.

I think that we want as many LBers as possible. It's unusual that this many high caliber LBers are giving us a shot. You take as many as want to come and get the depth when you can.

His rivals, 247, and scout profiles say he has an Alabama offer, are they wrong?

His offer from bama is at safety and he wants to play Lb.

That's not accurate, they are recruiting him as a LB. They briefly toyed with the idea, but his inexperience with coverage nixed that. He was never asked to play it, and it showed during camps.

I really hate throwing around "commitable offer", but that's pretty much the situation. He would love to be at Bama as he's a life long fan, but Bama has a commitments from more than a few LBs, making Kwon less of a priority.

I wish a few more of you good Bama fans would contribute over here. Outside opinions and evals are always good to buffer the home ones. Capstonegrad used to spend a lot of time over here but the SEC rb kind of nixed that some. I venture over there to read the info and appreciate the guys that don't really get into the flame wars.

He actually has a firm GREY SHIRT offer from Alabama, received it last Sunday from Saban. The question now is enroll at LSU this fall, or Alabama in January.
