All very good points. I probably should have said, Out of Region recruiting. However, your list shows everyone being from the region.

At first with Barksdale (Detroit) and Ware (Cincy), I thought we had something going there in the Midwest, but that seems to have stopped. I'd also like us to try to at least put a foot in the door in the Mid-Atlantic region (VA,MD,PA,NJ) for some 5 stars. Also a Cali player every now and then, at least just get them in for a visit.

You are totally correct, we are fertile, but have lost 4 impact players - top players - in the past two years, all to Alabama schools. If we can't defend that, then we just need to go elsewhere for 5 stars.

It's also a double edged sword deal, because we've lost commits from out of the region because of the distance. Gunnier Kiel, Lavelle Hawkins, Cassius Marsh I believe, etc...
