Not really.

In fact, on Nov 9th, we looked like a more athletic, better conditioned team, who outplayed Bama in the 2nd half and definitely in OT.

On Jan 9th, the biggest and most glaring difference in our two teams was at QB. We have not had a QB in 4 years. That right there could be the difference in an 8-5 team and a 14-0 team.

The only other major difference in on the O-Line. Both Bama and LSU have great D-Lines, but in the first game, our O-Line at least held their own to a certain extent. In the BCGCG, our OLine looked absolutely horrible.

Let me tell you about bama..

They didn't win the division this year
They didn't win the conference this year

They were given a mulligan over a more deserving Okie State, and got to the game.

There was better 'execution', not 'more' talent.
