Based on what I saw on over a hundred plus occasions last week, I'd be willing to bet his bride was like the other Bama women who watched their "men" confront LSU fans with taunts or middle fingers to the face. They stood there and laughed or took pictures.

I hope his wife is a decent woman who doesn't accept what he did as cute or funny. But I'm afraid that she'll follow the crowd that says that the victim deserved it for being passed out, and should be glad that's all that happened. She may be likely to justify and enable his actions, past and future. If she reacts like a decent woman, I'll be sympathetic. If she doesn't, I'll only feel bad for their child.

However, I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall at the next family get together at his in-laws house. Thinking about how my parents would react if he were my husband, I imagine it would be a little chilly around the dining room table.

To honor him he will be given the chair at the head of the table while the adults toast him with their lite beer, the children gather around his feet and sing songs of praise to him, the dogs hump the sofa on the porch, the cats poop in the neighbor's flower bed and the other people living in the trailer park will hang ropes of red carnations on his single wide.
