I want a QB. Dual-threat and drop-back are terms that are too often used to describe what a prospect can't do. Dual-threat can't pass well enough to justify playing them for their passing skills. Drop-back can't scramble and extend plays.

Since passing is 50% or more of most offenses, the most important quality in a QB is the ability to read defenses and deliver the ball on time to a receiver who can make a play. If you have that type of QB, you play him. If he can also run, so much the better, but I would not sacrifice passing efficiency to play a running QB.

VY, A. Rodgers, R. Cunningham, Vick, the guy Price from U-Dub, Braxton Miller, McCoy, Jameis Winston, A. Murray, S. Young, Flynn, JR, RP, the guy from Vtech, Russell Wilson, Herb Tyler, Cam Newton, D. Williams, Cyler Miles AABowl U-Dub commit, and Chase D. are just the guys that I could think of right now. You guys are full of sh*t if you say you wouldn't want REAL dual-threat QB.

The term dual-thread has become a nickname for mainly a black quarterback that can run. There should be a new QB category for QB's.

There should be strictly Pro-Style for those who are great passers who are not mobile. There should also be strictly a category for those who are great runners and are not accurate or can't read defenses well. And then there should be the REAL dual-threat QB who is great at both.
