The Honey Badger's performance made us forget how bad the offense was in the first half of the SEC title game. Zero first downs in the first half. 12 total yards. Georgia gave Saban the blue print to shut down our pathetic offense.
The fact that we were able to push Georgia around in the 2nd half probably validated the game plan and gave them no reason to adjust too much.
Basically, keep doing what has worked all season (we scored 500 points) and try the few things that worked in the first Bama game. Just a really bad game plan and terrible play calling and execution.
And I will NEVER EVER understand why Lee didn't get a chance.

Is Coach Stud (shouldn't shorten his name because he is far from it but I don't know how to spell it) our permanent OC or are we going to look for a new one? I have heard nothing one way or the other but I really hope he was temporary and leaves or goes back to coaching to O line.

I am so glad JJ is gone. I wish him well in the rest of his life. And I am proud of his service and commitment to the team. But, man it was hard to watch for the past 3+ years.
True dat.

Actually, the team changed the offensive strategy an identify when Jefferson returned. Before that, with Lee, we had a very different downfield passing attack with timing throws and quick release. This made the defenses defend the whole field, which made the running game much more effective.
This isn't true at all.
