I realize there has and always will be a contingent of LSU fans that believe Lee can and routinely does walk on water, but the fact that this coaching staff apparently DOES NOT does not make it a character issue.
The part none of you guys will grasp is that Miles, since the end of 2008, has felt Jefferson gave the team the best chance to win. Read it again so that will sink in...
That, and his subsequent decision on determining playing time for his QB's (and every other position that no one seems to get their panties bunched up about) can be critiqued in terms of it's effectiveness if you want...but to call it a character issues screams butthurt soccer mom who complains about her son's lack of PT.
You want to argue that Miles should have been playing Lee (or someone else at another position) because they'd have been more effective...go for it. To call it a character issue will only appeal to that portion of LSU fans who have been pulling for the name on the back of the jersey more so than the name on the side of the helmet.

You are missing what most are referring to. I am not saying Lee was better than JJ. I am saying Miles refused to play Lee even in the most obvious cases where he should have, such as in the 2nd half of the UGA game and the second half of the BCSNCG. Can you not comprehend the difference between that expectation and what you are stating in "exaggerative" fashion?

Its really pretty simple and takes nobody with an indepth knowledge of football to understand. When JL was at the position, the Off. functioned. When JJ was the only qb, it didnt. JL was treated grossly unfairly, which... understanding sports, I could overlook. Not that it wasnt all of the sudden "right", but at 13-0, CLM didnt deserve to be second guessed. But come on, after the debacle we watched, the nation watched, it really brought the whole issue back in the spot light. How, could anyone not give JL a shot??? I will never believe CLM thought he could do worse than what we were watching. No possible way. Not the same guy that coached us to 13-0...

This is the basic theme of your post, and I agree with your point. It is undeniably true that the coaching staff always felt since 2008 that Jefferson gave LSU the best chance to win, and that is there call, and they should do what's best for the team.
But...

I think many got frustrated with the thought that the coaching staff believes that Jefferson can and routinely does walk on water.
And for anybody that acts like "Come on people, the man lost one game...", has your head been in the sand for the last two seasons? People have not been asking about the unequal treatment of these two players only after a loss. This has been going on after nearly every game, of which LSU has won as much as anyteam in the entire country, of the last two years.
