When enough time has passed for Coach Miles to gain some perspective on his own poor decision to leave Jefferson in the game, I really hope he'll take the time to offer a reasonable and honest explanation for his decision. But, I truly doubt he ever will.

I know that he said, in response to the Bobby Hebert question, "...we needed a guy that could move his feet" but was it really just that. I do not think so.

The way to defend a pass rush is not to play the mobile QB, it is to create multiple dump points to quickly get rid of the ball. After a defense has been burned by quick releases, they cannot afford to commit multiples to the constant rush.

quick releases, not quick feet.

When you play the mobile QB and basically commit yourself to beating the rush by being faster and running, you have to honestly be faster than the people rushing.
