Exactly - Mo is a pure cover corner. TM7 is more of a hybrid player. They are used completely differently. Trying to define or measure TM7s ability by the pure definition of a cover corner isnt going to give you an accurate picture of his impact, because that isn't what he is.

Arguing that Mathieu isn't a great college football player is just stupid.
However, all the "best defensive player in the country" type hype is almost as absurd.
He makes a lot of game changing plays but it's fairly clear to most fans who pay attention (not to mention the Alabama offensive coordinator) that Claiborne, Reid, Washington, Mingo and the rest of the line are the one's that actually change/dictate a game plan.
