Congratulations to Alabama (long)

I have never seen a team with that kind of focus and execution in any significant game, I think I've seen in a while, maybe ever. AJ McCarron made some incredible throws to sustain drives and really only missed on 2 or 3 throws.
In the first matchup, there was talk after that Bama missed opportunities and that they beat themselves yada yada, but LSU in this game, besides the fumbled snaps and penalties, didn't even have the opportunities to beat themselves as Alabama took away everything LSU wanted to do. You could tell that LSU wanted to play the option without any qualms and Bama shed the blocks to stifle anything LSU wanted to do offensively on any type of play, not just the option.
The LSU O-line was manhandled by the Bama front 7 and if the secondary needed to make a play, they did so and played with the most consistent technique I've seen in a long time. It hurt deep down to be outcoached that significantly in play calling, technique, preparation, and in-game adjustments (which Bama didn't have to make many).
I could go on and on, but I also wanted to express what the state of Alabama has done in the past three years and the SEC West as a whole has done in the last 5 years and this year in particular. Bama won the National Championship without even winning its own division (as LSU took the division obviously) which shows the parity of how good and close these two teams are this year. Of course when it mattered most, Bama absolutely dominated and ground LSU to the bone with anything LSU wanted to do and Bama proved to play to be the best when this was the game to decide it.
At any rate, congratulations to Alabama, tons of respect to how dominate they were tonight and how Nick Saban and AJ McCarron presented themselves post game. They deflected to praise the team and program as a whole and it was refreshing to see that too. What a great season to the Tide and Geaux Tigers!
ETA: parody to parity

Thanks! Tough night for y'all but even though we "dominated", I still didn't feel comfortable until the clock hit 00:00.
Y'all will be stacked next year, especially if Mett and Kiel live up to the hype.
I don't think Alabama has a chance to repeat next year with all they lose, so maybe LSU can make it 7 in a row for the SEC.

Parity. But good post otherwise.

Thanks.
Was listening to the radio postgame show and Kirby Smart said they really focused on fundamentals alot during the layoff and he attributed alot of tonight to that, in how they responded to the option and just making tackles with solid technique. Was somewhat nervous about the long layoff, but they managed it well in the end.

Best LSU poster. Thanks for being classy and not a dick like others. I hate that LSU had to lose for people like you. It sucks. I understand. Big ups on your courage and classiness.

2009 SEC Championship game against Florida had a similar level of focus. Made Timmy cry!

With saban coaching, I'll never write Bama off. He's the best coach in college football, bar none, and whatever talent is there he'll use it to the fullest.
I admire good playing and good coaching and that's exactly what we saw in the NC game tonight. You guys were superior in all areas of the game from beginning to end and I really see no reason for there to be a big letdown by Bama next year.
As long as Saban is your coach and as long as you guys recruit as you do, you'll always be a factor in playing for the NC.
Congratulations on a dominant win tonight.

Shed a tear or two when I realized that LSU didn't have a chance to come back. Made it feel not quite as bad how Bama presented themselves post game. Thank you UASports23 for your kind words, I can only praise the Lord for giving me the desire to giving props where it's deserved. He is a gracious God.
