It was definitely a fumble, but I don't know why people assumed it would be an automatic TD if the whistle wasn't blown. I rewatched the game, and not one of the Saints squad was really making an attempt
at recovering the ball because of the whistle.

I was pissed at Meach for just standing there especially once they awarded them the ball. I couldn't hear the early whistle from the Terrace. I guess Schwartz couldn't over the sound of his doucheiness.
