IF (speaking in the hypothetical) Alabama wins Monday do we call them the National Champs, or do we claim a split national title when the AP votes us #1?

In 2003, when the AP voted USC the National Champions, I for one said the AP title was a bogus title.

1) LSU beat Alabama in the regular season in Alabama.
2) LSU had the hardest schedule in the country.
3) The teams that LSU beat that went to a bowl are 6-1 in bowl play.

I think that there is enough support from the regular season that even if the most unlikely of finishes happens('Bama has more points than us at the end of the rematch) that there should be a split title.

I also think that we all agreed that the winner of the BCS game is the National Champion.

I just hope that the Tigers take care of business and that this is not the topic of conversation Tuesday morning.
