You continually post these statistical tables that compare apples and oranges.
Jefferson has played on a couple of the most talented teams LSU has ever fielded.
The talent level was way lower when Tyler, Davey, and Booty played at LSU. We were playing from behind a lot forcing the QBs to take chances.
In JJs best statistical season of 2009, you should include the number of times he was sacked. It was an astounding number. Of course, those that did not watch or refuse to see what is obvious will say the the O-line was terrible. JJ made them look terrible by holding the ball too long on almost every passing down. Instead of taking any chances of throwing picks, he would not throw to a receiver that was not wide open, instead taking sacks that ere then blamed on the O-line.
I have been watching LSU football all of my life, and JJ is the least effective QB LSU has ever fielded as the primary QB for any significant stretch.

quote:You didn't watch LSU football when Tyler, Davey, and Booty played, did you. Tyler and Davey had winning records. Booty was a major cause of his own problems. It's amazing what happened once Booty was no longer starting.

Oh, and if you knew anything about football, you'd know that passing numbers tend to increase when a team is trailing. Just look at Lee's RS freshman year.
Booty's numbers suck. They do. His first year QB Rating is double digits. His career QB Rating is barely triple digits. His career completion percentage is below 50%. He never had a year above 50%.
Go peddle your Jefferson hatred elsewhere. Some people here, not many, but some, understand football, LSU football in particular, and the QB position.

There are at least three QBs on the chart that are worse than Jefferson.
Oh, and please, let me add, you mad.
