Its pretty evident that JJ is the better fit at QB as long as we can run the ball at will, he is good enough to pass when given time. However, take away the run like UGA did and JJ become one dimensional and very ineffective. JL can hand the ball off and can counter pitch if he settles down and plays the game he is much more effective than JJ.
