I like da bran too, and i have heard that corn provides almost zreo nutritional value. Just more of a filler, really. But i still throw it out, cuz they come to it late in the year when all the acorns go bad.

Someone answer this for me.....if beans r left alone and not eaten for a few days will they spoil on the ground? I have heard the spoiled smell they put off cause the deer to stay away

For some reason the deer haven't been hitting the rice bran much at our place. They used to tear it up, but they barely want it this year.
I found a spot that sells soybeans for pretty cheap, so I'm gonna try them this weekend and see if I can get some pictures.

Wt time do u usually feed during the day? And how often?

I usually put the rice bran out during the day. Either after the morning hunt where I'm going to hunt that evening or the next day or while walking in.
For the rice bran I usually put 1/4 sack in a pile.
Soybeans and corn I throw from a feeder that throws 45 minutes after sunrise and 45 minutes before sunset. Sometimes I'll throw a few handfuls out if I'm hunting a narrow shooting lane.

If you have a sugar mill near you, get a bucket of raw sugar. Impossible to resist.

Big and Js or Acorn Rage are what have given me the most success with those type situations. I don't hunt one area enough days in a row to use much of that stuff though. I mainly use it when I put cameras out and want pictures of what is in the area.
