Miles did not play to win the first game; he played not to lose, and it worked. Saban threw everything at us, and it did not work. Now Miles will bring the mad hat, play to win, and show $aban how it is done.

This! We played very conservative on November 5th while Saban did things like the Maze pass and keeping Maze on the field when he was injured. I also think we improved against stiffer competition after November 5th and Bama seemed to go backwards agains lesser competition.

I think this is big...CLM didn't have to play cute for the W, no big chances. He proved he could beat bama without pulling crazy plays.
