We all know there are problems with the BCS system. You are not going to fix it. Even with a playoff, or the old system you could have a rematch and you still would be terrified of Bama, and complaining. The system worked like it should have, if OSU had been chosen there would be people saying it didn't work then as well. You can't please everyone.
The two best teams are playing, looks like it worked as well as it could have.

ITS NEVER BEEN ABOUT MATCHING THE TWO BEST TEAMS. It's also never been about who could possibly beat #1. In the past it was about "regular season" "body of work" et.
If it were wouldnt it say that on the BCS website.
If Bama earned there way to a rematch through a playoff I would have absolutely no problem with it. But as it is they were simply chosen.
I find incredibly disrespectful to LSU considering all they have already accomplished.

People keep saying the 2 best teams..
Because I have great respect for Alabama, I would have to say I agree.
BUT, since Alabama didn't play OSU this year, we have no idea, we can only speculate...
since alabama played LSU at home and lost, we have head to head results in the books.
with no play off, no plus one, it still blows my mind that Alabama gets a rematch...
It's called a National Championship...we have 119 teams...and we play about 13 or 14 games max...
Head to head results should be huge, should they not?
It should be that LSU earned the right to represent the SEC in the MNC game, and Alabama should be in the Sugar Bowl playing Michigan...
