I've got sources pretty close to LSU and they still feel good about Landon. They do say it wouldn't be a suprise if he went to Bama but think LSU is in a great spot right now. This weekend also helped a lot.
I wasn't in tune during McKnight so I only know what I've been told in hindsight.
Kenny Bell was known about but not very widely. It was not a suprise to the LSU staff.
Greg Robinson was all LSU at one point and almost commited in the early spring. Before he did Auburn got him on campus and from that point on he was a lost cause.
Sentimore would have been a Tiger if it were up to him. We waited too long and when we did finally push for him he was going to flip but people close to him talked him out of it. Nothing sinister just respectful.
I knew about Bradley Sylve when he silently commited to Bama in the spring. There is a thread on here asking about it. I withheld his name because it was a situation where he didn't want it public until he felt things were in order locally. He gave them a silent 3-4 months before he went public. He didn't go public until the coach thing happened at the school. At that point there was no use in keeping the silent anymore.
Every source has things they miss on and mine have had these occasions as well. Sometimes the info is bad and sometimes things change. Rasco's recruitment had a huge change in it that couldn't be helped by sources since the info was so scarce with him.

There is a shite ton of things going for lsu in this battle, and the only thing that I can think of in bamas favor is his girl MIGHT go there.
That is it
