I can agree with this to an extent. But how should they do this? There are probably more people that have had season tickets since the 80s than the entire allotment of BCS tickets.

Frankly, I think people who don't donate much anymore should be thankful they've been able to keep their current seats. LSU could easily announce that they're wiping the slate clean, and all season ticket holders will have first shot at renewing their tickets, but they'll have to get their TAF ranking up to par with what it would take to get those tickets. I'm pretty sure Bama did something similar to this several years ago.

I think it all starts with getting rid of TAF, which means that the Louisiana Legislature would have to first pass a law allowing for donations to the LSU Athletics Department without donating to the general fund.
