I agree. I think trying to tie Ben to Constance is tenuous, at best. She's never mentioned giving any of her children away and I think she would have by now (but with this show, who knows).
One thing (among many) is still a mystery to me though: what's the deal with the closet at Constance's place with all the mirrors? The one she locked her daughter in in one of the early episodes and (in the previews for next week's episode) where she will have the crib and her "grandbaby" (still not sold on that one being Tate's/hers).
I've been thinking on what they psychic said and I think Thaddeus is the most successful attempt the evil has made toward entering the world. Tate was to be its next step by making him schizophrenic then taking over whatever personality was weakest. When Tate became a killing machine as a way to cope with an internal battle he didn't even know he was undergoing (and thus died), I think the evil realized that it needed to take over someone even younger (because of having only the barest of an id) thus the push (through Tate) to make a baby (as well as getting rid of the gay guys).
And here I am starting the thread off by agreeing that some of you may be overthinking things
