re: Les and Coach Mac

Gotta weigh in on this, having known the family. Coach Mac and Mrs. Mac(she and my mother played college basketball together btw,) were two of the classiest people you could ever meet. They loved LSU and certainly gave more than they received. They even moved back to BR after retirement and continued to support LSU, after having been sent packing rather disgracefully by LSU. They were wonderful people, always had time for you, did a lot of good behind the scenes for a lot of people, never seeking credit or recognition for it.
I really like Les, but you have to admit he's got a little more to work with than Coach Mac. It's called progress, and it's great.
